hi
heres an interesting question my tuition cher asked:
there are 3 ppl:
A, B n C.
3 of them checked into 1 hotel room.
each one of them paid 10dollars. therefore the amount paid now is $30.
3 of them went oout of the hotel aft putting their luggages down.
dn, the manager realised tt the 3 frens paid xtra money, (as the price is supposed to be $25)
so, manager passed 5dollars to the bellboy, asking the bellboy to return the money to the 3 frens.
as 5dollars is not divisible by 3, the bell boy pocketed 2dollars n returned each of the 3 frens a dollar each.
okay. here comes the interesting part.
so the amount each person paid -> $10 (initial money paid)-$1 (amount bellboy return ) = $9
therefore,
$9 x 3 (total amount the 3 frens paid) + $2(amount bellboy pocketed) = $27 + $2
= $29
izen it supposed to be 30dollars? wad happened to the missing 1 dollar?
put on ur thinking cap readers!
