Lazy to upload photos already. Life here is too peaceful, if not mundane.
Anyway, I stumbled upon a certain shop that sells football merchandise while shopping in town today.
"Do you have green and "yellow" Manchester United scarfs?" I asked.
"You mean Red and green?"
"No, I MEAN GREEN AND "YELLOW"."
"Yellow and Red?"
"NO, GREEN AND YELLOW."
She rolled her eyes, as if telling me im too noob a fan to ask for the scarfs she didnt know about. "We only have red and white, they are Manchester United colours." Disappointed, I walked away. She needs to be older than my Grandma to teach me about Manchester United.. (=
Significance of the Green and Gold.
Its a protest by us Manchester United fans against the club's owners, the Glazer family. Since taking over a once public Manchester United in 2003 using money they borrowed, their debt is passed onto the club. The lengendary fortress that remained debt free for so long is now in debt of 700 million pounds.
For me, the moment of last season. Home coming for Becks! He wore the scarf some fan threw onto the pitch!
